Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and reliable Operations Technician to join our team in Porto. This role is ideal for a versatile professional who enjoys working across multiple areas, from laboratory testing to on-site wind turbine operations.
The position offers strong growth potential, with increasing responsibility and autonomy as you develop within the role.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Operations team in manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing activities
Collaborate with installation teams on-site (including international wind farms) to ensure proper system integration and quality control
Assist in laboratory testing, inspection, and validation of systems
Identify defects and contribute to troubleshooting and resolution
Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies
Manage and maintain warehouse inventory and operational supplies
Provide general administrative and operational support
Document test results and prepare technical reports
Communicate effectively with internal teams (engineering, product development) and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Technical education (electrical, electronics, mechanics) or relevant professional experience
Hands-on experience in manufacturing, field operations, or similar environments
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Proactive mindset with focus on quality and continuous improvement
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Availability for field work (including wind turbines and international assignments)
Valid EU work permit
Wind industry experience and GWO certification is considered a plus.
