Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and reliable Operations Technician to join our team in Porto. This role is ideal for a versatile professional who enjoys working across multiple areas, from laboratory testing to on-site wind turbine operations.

The position offers strong growth potential, with increasing responsibility and autonomy as you develop within the role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations team in manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing activities

  • Collaborate with installation teams on-site (including international wind farms) to ensure proper system integration and quality control

  • Assist in laboratory testing, inspection, and validation of systems

  • Identify defects and contribute to troubleshooting and resolution

  • Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies

  • Manage and maintain warehouse inventory and operational supplies

  • Provide general administrative and operational support

  • Document test results and prepare technical reports

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (engineering, product development) and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Technical education (electrical, electronics, mechanics) or relevant professional experience

  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing, field operations, or similar environments

  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

  • Proactive mindset with focus on quality and continuous improvement

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English

  • Availability for field work (including wind turbines and international assignments)

  • Valid EU work permit

Wind industry experience and GWO certification is considered a plus.
